Overview

“Age is no guarantee of efficiency.” - Q

I’ve always wanted to do a small project expressing my love for James Bond, so this iconic pistol felt perfect. For this project, I decided to use Plasticity and adopt a CAD workflow. A significant portion of the project was dedicated to developing a different mindset and approach to creating shapes in 3D space. The final textures were on two 4k maps and rendered in the new Marmoset Toolbag 5 beta. Really enjoyed the learning process for this project and I hope to continue using CAD in my future projects!

Special thanks to Palm Piraban for the video, and massive, massive thanks to Howel Ganuchaud, Martino DB, and Todd Tovmasyan for the feedback. Thank you for looking!
